Captained by McCalmont and part of the Kelly fleet, the Annagher sank in Belfast Lough (near to Ballymacormick Point) on 11th December 1937. She is now well broken up but covered in spectacular marine life.

Originally on route to Llannelly, she was carrying a cargo of over 600 tons of scrap and 16 tons of lead which shifted as the vessel was turned to put the wind to bear on the other side. A course was steered to beach the 586 ton steamer but it sank suddenly without lifeboats being launched. The captain and crew of eight drowned and only one sailor survived.
